Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Travel Show Director and Producer to lead the development and production of an exciting travel series (6 x 30-40 min episodes) for one of the OTT overseas platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting a compelling storyline, coordinating with actors (travelers), and overseeing on-location shoots. This is a temporary position with overseas travel required in December 2023.

Responsibilities:

1. Storyline Development: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging storylines for the travel series. Craft narratives that captivate viewers and provide a unique perspective on each destination. This project requires a good understanding of how Korean travel shows are structured. 

2. Coordination:  Provide guidance and direction to ensure authentic and engaging performances throughout the journey.

3. Production Oversight: Work with a local filming crew and be engaged in a production process. 

4. Post-Production Collaboration: Work with the post-production team (overseas) to review and provide input on editing, sound design, and visual effects to ensure the final product aligns with the envisioned storyline.

Qualifications:

• Interest in travel or documentary shows.
• Strong storytelling skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities. A friendly attitude is a must.  
• Willingness and availability to travel overseas in December 2023 (7-10 days).
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technology.
• A passion for travel and a keen eye for unique and compelling content.
• English & Korean languages. English skills should be enough to be able to communicate with a foreign crew.
