Hello! I'm an artist (American woman) looking for someone to film my upcoming performance on Saturday 22 June at 7:30PM. The performance will take place in a restaurant in Insadong (Seoul). Your time would be required for the majority of the evening (approx 5:30PM until the performance's end, to be discussed upon meeting). Given financial constraints, this will be an unpaid position (for experience) with preference toward filmmakers who would like the opportunity to challenge and improve their skills through experiencing an expressive, provocative, visceral art form.
The performance requires handheld, active, tracking documentation in a room full of 50-60 people. ONE FILMMAKER IS ENOUGH, TWO IS IDEAL (tracking the artist plus B-roll of the audience/space). Please organize your own equipment accordingly (even a good phone camera is okay, better equipment preferred). I will collect all footage from the evening directly after the performance and edit it myself.
At least a basic English level is required for ease of communication. We will meet in person once before the performance, so applicants in Seoul are preferred.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be nudity and adult/sensitive subject matter in the performance, so I'm asking only for responses from those who are sensitive, accepting, and respectful of such subject matters.
