Synopsis

 

TAEMIN and MINJI, a couple of Korean tourists, arrive in a remote US small town for an adventurous hiking vacation in the Northern part of the country. It’s late at night, the car rental is closed so a driver takes them to their rental house. The place is in the middle of nature and, while Minji is taking a shower, she mysteriously vanishes. The local Sheriff shows up to the place and, after analyzing a series of evidence, he believes that Taemin is responsible for his girlfriend's disappearance and decides to keep him in custody until he can collect more evidence about the case. But, that night, Taemin manages to escape from the police station and he becomes a fugitive with the clear goad to find Minji and to prove his innocence. The path is full of obstacles but, when he finally finds her, he discovers that Minji is surprisingly married to a local man, she speaks perfect English and she doesn't have any idea who Taemin is. Frustrated and angry, Taemin breaks into her house, he fights Minji's husband and kidnaps her, creating the feeling that he is turning crazy and, maybe, he is really dangerous...

 

Characters

 

Taemin shouldn’t be taller than 185cm, (surely not 190 or more), he should be fit but slim (not too muscular), gentle face, no standard model beauty. Playing age from 25 to 31.

Minji is not a stunning beauty, she doesn’t wear makeup, high heels, or spend time to take care of her hairstyle. Her beauty is her imperfections and her persona. Not taller than 175cm, fit but ok if slightly overweight, playing age 22-28


Minji and Tae are a lovely couple. Friendly, fun, curious, as many others. They look innocent and cute to the eyes of a stranger that doesn't understand their language. Taemin appears to be more naive than Minji but he is also a funny guy with a brightness that seems to be contagious. Minji loves him also because of his sense of humor. Minji instead is a well-organized girl but she also lacks experience in traveling. She thinks everything has to be prepared in advance but she is also flexible and able to improvise if something doesn’t go as planned. Taemin instead lacks courage and most of the time he needs her to take initiative.
